Beyoncé revealed some of her inspirations as she celebrated Juneteenth while delving into the creation of her stunning Renaissance World Tour ensembles.
The musical superstar shared a variety of her outfits from her Sunday night show in Amsterdam on Instagram and explained in one post that the fashion designer Bob Mackie had been a major influence on her designs.
She also said she was inspired by the disco-era fashion populating Studio 54 in the late 1970s and early ’80s, and she shared her pride at being one of the Black designers prominently featured on her tour stop a day ahead of Juneteenth.
Beyoncé, who joined a bevy of other stars marking the holiday that celebrates the end of slavery for Black Americans, stunned in one post in a H๏τ pink halter dress with a crisscrossing neckline and sparkling sequins.
The look featured a sizable cutout highlighting her cleavage, and it also had dual sky-high slits showcasing her fit legs.
The hitmaker pair the pink dress with pointy silver heels from Malone Souliers and detached pink gloves reaching to her upper arms.
She completed her ensemble with a sleek set of black bug-eyed sunglᴀsses, and pH๏τos from on stage showed her adding a tiered coat covered in glittering pink faux fur.
Beyoncé was surrounded by woman musicians and dancers during the performance, including one woman rocking out on a silver alto saxophone.
‘I started designing this collection over a year ago. I was so engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era,’ Beyoncé explained in her caption.
She explained that she wanted to update Mackie’s designs — which were donned by icons including Cher, Carol Burnett, Doris Day, Lucille Ball and the mother–daughter team of Judy Garland and Liza Minelli, among many other stars — while adding the contemporary touches of her sporty clothing label Ivy Park.
‘I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection,’ she explained. ‘I’m so happy to share this with you and even more proud to launch it for the first time on the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. I’m proud to be among the very talented Black designers featured in last night’s show to celebrate Juneteenth.’
Beyonce’s pH๏τos featured her performing onstage in the glamorous ensemble while backed by gleaming silver tinsel and illuminated lavender steps.
She was joined by a bevy of male and female backup dancers, each in a similarly themed pink outfit, many of which included fringe and sparkling sequins.
The singer–songwriter closed out her post with what appeared to be an original design for the outfit she wore on Sunday night in Amsterdam.
Prior to her latest post about her own design, Beyoncé revealed in another post that every outfit she wore at the final show of the weekend had been created by a Black designer, and they were featured together in honor of Juneteenth.
However, even as she tried to celebrate the stunning designs of Black artists, she puzzlingly failed to credit any of the designers in her posts, robbing them of the enormous exposure that comes with one of her highly anticipated Instagram posts.
Among the looks was a glamorous red bodycon dress covered in beads and featuring a high slit.
The Drunk In Love singer shared a carousel of gorgeous pH๏τos of herself as she performed at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
The 28-time Grammy winner wrote: ‘In honor of Juneteenth, everything I wore for RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR tonight was created exclusively by Black designers.’

With added attention to detail, she also performed with a silver microphone and mic stand.
For an added iridescence, she donned a pair of subtle and pale fishnet тιԍнтs.
She also rocked diamond stud earrings and also showcased a chrome manicure.
The Destiny’s Child singer styled her blonde tresses in chic beach waves and left her hair down to billow in the wind.
For makeup, she looked glamorous in a smokey and silver eyeshadow look.
Finally, she also wore a radiant peach blush, rose gold highlighter, and a classic ɴuᴅᴇ lip.
Beyonce shared many pH๏τos of herself performing her hits while showing off her stunning look.
One futuristic outfit included a silver bodysuit with shiny metal panels and bolts that made her look like a retro robot.

The outfit included long silver sleeves, and she complemented it with tall gleaming silver boots.
Next up was a red bodysuit that complemented her more glamorous dress.
She wore it with wrinkled thigh-high red boots held up with suspenders, along with a red jacket that she wore wide open.
Beyoncé looked as if she could have had the crowd on its feet during Studio 54’s heyday in another post featuring a ruched metallic gray mini dress.
She had on matching thigh-high boots and wore playful rhinestone-covered cat-eye sunglᴀsses while her curly blond hair fluttered in the breeze.
The Single Ladies singer dressed down a bit in another bodysuit featuring a golden top with mottled silver and red legs, all of which was covered in tiny sequins while hugging her curves.
She was far more extravagant in another body suit with a black-and-yellow python-like design, which also made her look a bit like a bee.
The outfit completely covered her, except for her head and fingers. She accessorized with a stunning wide-brimmed hat in the same pattern
Rounding out the looks was one that referenced the cover of Renaissance. Beyonce rode atop a mirror ball–like horse, but she was more covered up than on the album cover.
She had on another bodysuit covered in mirror sections and she wore a fluffy silver coat that sparkled in the light.
The ensemble made Beyoncé look like a disco queen as she took to the stage.
