The actor plays the тιтular role in the new Marvel film, which is the latest installment in Spiderman’s Spider-verse and will follow the superhero’s nemesis.
In order to achieve and maintain the shredded physique he flaunts in the film Aaron followed a strict training schedule and diet.
He said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel this week: ‘There was six months of training for this and a lot of special dietary plans. I had a great trainer.
‘It was pretty strict diet. I couldn’t have any of the good stuff — pizza, pasta, zero alcohol for two years while I made this movie.’
The Hollywood hunk reiterated, ‘I did not have a drop of alcohol for two years when I made this. After filming was done, it was beautiful — I had a whole pizza all to myself and had a lovely draft pulled beer and it was ice cold and it was the best thing I ever tasted.’
He recalled, ‘Soon after I looked like a balloon as my stomach wasn’t used to it!’

Aaron’s character is a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance.
The first eight minutes of the movie have been teased, and show Kraven posing as a Russian felon and boarding a bus en route to prison.
The Anna Karenina star told Comic Book he hopes this is the start of a story line that could lead to a Spiderman crossover film.
He told the publication: ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt is a brilliant comic book and a great story — and amazing source material for us to go to the end of this character’s life and then work our way backwards and give you the root, the seed that we plant in this story.’
He added: ‘So if you come and watch this movie… There’s twists and turns and the character at the end — if you’re into that and it’s successful — it’s a character I’d love to see go toe-to-toe with some other characters out there, for sure.’
