Margot Robbie has revealed that her commitment to authenticity drove her to insist on full-frontal nudity in The Wolf of Wall Street.
The Barbie actress, 34, shared that director Martin Scorsese was initially open to adjusting the scene for her comfort but she disagreed.
The filmmaker, 82, told Margot: ‘Maybe you can be wearing a robe if you’re not comfortable.’
‘But I said, “That’s not what she would do in that scene. The whole point is that she’s going to come out completely naked—that’s the card she’s playing”‘.
Speaking on the Talking Pictures podcast, Margot disclosed that it took multiple attempts to land the role of Naomi Lapaglia.
