The top model will co-design with the brand for other two seasons

The lucky union between Gigi Hadid and Tommy Hilfiger continues its adventure. In fact, the top model has been confirmed as global brand ambᴀssador for womenswear, including accessories and footwear. It’s planned that the most loved 22-years-old girl will design the Tommy x Gigi collection, in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, for other two seasons.

The choice of the model Gigi Hadid is part of the Tommy Hilfiger’s strategy to extend and improve the image of the brand globally and, given the success of the previous collections, it seems that it is doing properly.

With an ambᴀssador like Gigi Hadid, with 33.9 million followers on Instagram and a worldwide success, it was impossible to get wrong. The SS17 Tommy x Gigi collection, shown last February in Los Angeles, captured the attention of all worldwide media, thanks also to the amazing set of the #Tommyland show, inspired to a real funfair, with colored lights, dancers, skaters, and jugglers.

The collection was a tribute to West Coast young culture, with its music festivals and art events, and every minidress, sporty crop tops, and oversize t-shirts were inspired to that universe.

At the moment, the location for the next Tommy X Gigi FW17 collection has not been unveiled yet, but we are sure it will be stunning.
