Watch out world, Marnie Simpson is back and better than ever in fiery red! Get ready for her epic return to Geordie Shore on MTV!

Marnie Simpson looked incredible as she posed for a series of sizzling beach snaps while on a sun-soaked getaway this week to Thailand.

The Geordie Shore star, 32, showcased her phenomenal physique in a red ʙικιɴι, which included a strappy top and matching skimpy bottoms.

The reality personality is currently on the island of Koh Samui where she is filming for the upcoming series of the MTV series.

Earlier this year, Marnie explosively quit the show following a fall out with her co-stars, however she has since made an ’11th hour’ decision to return.

In the snaps, Marnie opted for a make-up free look for the beach day and her hair was worn wet following a dip in the sea, as it cascaded down her back.

The mother of two took snaps in a series of locations, including kneeling in the shallows as well as lounging about on a string hammock.

The reality personality accessorised her swimwear with a pair of cream rectangular shades, which shielded her eyes from the sun.

Marnie has been joined by her husband Casey Johnson on the trip as she shared a video with him to her Instagram Stories on the same day.

Her appearance on the trip comes after she refused to appear in any new episodes of the programme and told bosses that she did not plan to return to the show.

At the time speaking on a possible return, she said: ‘I’d have to really think about it. And have serious conversations if I was to go back.’

However, Marnie has since had a change of heart and has been sharing pictures from filming with the rest of the cast.

A source told The Sun: ‘Marnie coming back was an eleventh hour decision by bosses, as they were worried the new series didn’t have enough drama.

‘The producers were really annoyed with the way Marnie left the show and slagged off the way the last series was edited, but when they got to Thailand to film the new series, they quickly realised something was missing.

‘The last series was full of drama but a few days in, they became concerned that there wasn’t going to be any conflict, especially coupled with the high profile departure of Charlotte Crosby.’

According to the insider, they reached out to Marnie and managed to work out a last minute deal for her to appear on the show.

Marnie quit the show following an explosive row with Charlotte Crosby, who also left the programme following the fall out.

She also cut ties with co-stars Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan, who she no longer follows on her Instagram page.

Marnie cut ties with Sophie and Holly Hagan after being cruelly mum-shamed over her son Rox.

After her exit, Marnie spoke out on how she felt ‘shamed’ by her friends over her son’s attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The row took place during the 24th series of the show reboot filmed, which was filmed in Cyprus alongside other original cast members.

Marnie hit back at mum-shamers who criticised her parenting skills and said she was ‘shocked’ by some of the cast.

The television personality fell out with fellow mum Charlotte, 34, who left the show after getting into an argument over a high chair.

Marnie said the trip ‘mᴀssively upset’ her and she has been in tears over the ‘cruel’ comments made about her son Rox, four.

Marnie, who is also mum to son Oax, two said: ‘Just want to say a huge thank you for all the support I’m receiving. It’s so upsetting to see comments being made about my four-year-old son, my four-year-old son, Rox is a hyper 4-year-old but aren’t most kids his age he was just excited to be away.

‘Rox’s ADHD doesn’t change how amazing, loving, funny and caring he is, he’s an innocent child and doesn’t deserve this, he was just having fun.’

ADHD is a behavioural condition defined by inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.

Marnie continued: ‘For close friends basically saying hurtful things about children, filming with my two boys was extremely scary and daunting putting myself out there for 100s of people to judge me as a parent especially because I know how full on they are and I’m always aware of other people’s feelings and I constantly felt like I was loosing control, the amount of pressure in Cyprus was so horrible.’

Marnie said she felt the pressure build up until she ‘exploded’ and ‘raised my voice’ during filming.

She said: ‘It was so tense and I didn’t know how to process all of that judgement. It’s not right.

‘One thing everyone knows about me is that I don’t often cry especially on camera and if I do it really does mean I’m upset and can’t hide it

‘But Cyprus did mᴀssively upset me, it was my honeymoon and all I did was try and make it a happy environment for my kids.’

Marnie said the ‘last thing she wanted was a clash’ and is ‘so upset’ her children were being spoken about.

‘To see close people around me judge me and be mean about my children is so upsetting, say anything you want about me but talking about my kids is below the belt and unforgivable and I’m still so shocked.’

She continued: ‘Rox was so affectionate towards the babies. The whole way through that trip he would constantly stroke them and cuddle them and ask where they were.

“Everyone there said “aww Rox is so sweet towards the babies”, so for people to be mean to him knowing this is sick, messed up and evil FACT.”

Marnie and Charlotte, who has 15-month-old daughter Alba with fiancé Jake Ankers – unfollowed each other on Instagram after the row in Cyprus.

Charlotte flew home after filming the show for just two days last year, and she was left ‘sad, paranoid and anxious’ about the after-effects of her exit.

Speaking on her Always On podcast, Charlotte said: ‘It just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don’t know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird. I didn’t expect it to go the way that it did, and for that reason I am sad.

‘I’m sad for loads of reasons. I’m sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, into a show that I loved so much and it went so badly wrong.

‘I feel like I could cry talking about it. I felt an immense amount of guilt for not knowing better. I just thought we were going to have such a good time.

‘We didn’t not. We did have some good times. Listen, it was fun. I was only in there for two days, but we had some lovely times in quarantine.

‘There was a silly argument, over a high chair of all things, that escalated. And I just left. I just needed to get out of that environment.’
