Dua Lipa is sharing an uncomfortable moment she had at the 2024 Golden Globes!

On Tuesday, the “Dance the Night” singer, 28, posted a behind-the-scenes video of her struggling to sit down in her dress at the annual film and TV awards show, which she was attending for the first time on Sunday.

In the awkward clip, Lipa slowly sank in her chair while leaning back at her table in the Beverly Hilton, where the Globes was held, as other guests chatted away.

“Thank you @goldenglobes for such a beautiful night last night,” the nominee captioned her post, jokingly adding: “— the only thing missing was a reclining chair.”

In another pH๏τo shared by the singer, Lipa laughed as she stood in a sprinter van in her obstructing gown — appearing to see the funny side of the situation.

Lipa otherwise looked sensational at the 81st annual Golden Globes on Sunday. For the event, she wore a custom Haute Couture black velvet bustier gown adorned with embroidered gilded bones in diamond and gold designed by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli.

The elegant design was inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli’s 1938 collaboration with Salvador Dalí, stylist Lorenzo Posocco shared on Instagram.

“Greta was saying how inspired by disco she was,” Lipa explained. “I just thought about disco and the community it brings, and the way it brings people together. It was always a genre of music that was such a release when things weren’t going well in the world.”

“And so ‘Dance the Night’ was created specifically for Barbie’s best day ever, which then results in her thinking about death. So it’s really about those dualities of life and being able to merge the two together,” the singer added.
