Dua Lipa treated her fans to a magical evening in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The songstress, 28, held a fan event for her brand new single Houdini at where else – the Houdini Estate in Laurel Canyon.
Dua dazzled in leather look as she enchanted fans from behind a DJ booth at the stunning venue.
Audience members cheered as they crowded by Dua’s DJ booth with their phones out to capture the festivities.
The beauty, whose hair was dyed a shade of red, looked stunning with a flawless coat of makeup on her complexion. She rocked mascara, a shimmering shade of eyeshadow, and lip gloss.
The track is from her upcoming third studio album, a project she says is ‘vastly different’ from her second studio album, Future Nostalgia.
‘The differences between Future Nostalgia and new music – I mean, they’re vastly different overall,’ she said during a fan Q&A with Capital FM.
‘And I feel like the more than I write, the more that I work, the more that I’m in the studio, the more confident I get in my writing and my craft and really just being vulnerable and honest and not really being afraid to put myself on blast a little bit. Yeah, this is definitely my favourite album I think,’ she said.
She revealed if she felt an pressure on her next album after the success of her track Dance The Night from the Barbie soundtrack.
‘I’d been working on my album while I was touring so Dance The Night was another exciting thing for me to do while I was still on the road. Because my new album is quite different to Future Nostalgia, Dance The Night gave me the opportunity to go back in one more time and do another fun disco inspired song,’ she said.
As for what sparked her red hair, she said: ‘When I was listening to the songs from the new album I felt like I kept seeing the colour red. I just felt like red was a fun hair colour change for me and actually I’m really happy I did it. I feel very much myself in it.’
Dua’s track Houdini was released earlier this month, while her next album won’t drop until next year.
Outside of her career, Dua has been dating French filmmaker Romain Gavras for a few months now.
Dua – who has previously dated the likes of model Anwar Hadid and Paul Klein – was first spotted with Romain in February this year and had been ‘getting to know him’ for months by the time they went public.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Dua and Romain have been quietly getting to know each other for several months.
‘They have been enjoying spending time together. The pair met each other’s close circles over the festive period and have lots in common.
Elsewhere, it was reported that the Levitating hitmaker could become a billionaire by the age of 40 after teaming up with her businessman father Dugi in a publishing move.
The pair have set up a company, Radical 22 Publishing Limited, to help manage all her commercial ᴀssets, just days after she announced she had cut all ties with her former management company TaP.
Discussing Dua’s new strategy to ensure she possesses ownership of her songs, a source told The Sun: ‘Essentially, the move also has echoes of Taylor Swift — a huge female pop star rewriting the narrative and making money on her own terms. By the time she’s 40, Dua could be a billionaire.’
