Kate Waterhouse kicked off her Christmas celebration with a sunny start, enjoying an early morning dip in Sydney.

The horse racing heiress, 41, was accompanied by her husband Luke Ricketson, 51, for some festive family fun in the sun at Balmoral Beach on Wednesday.

Kate proudly showcased her toned beach body as she strolled along the sand.

She wore a khaki-coloured two-piece ʙικιɴι from the Australian label Faithful, which highlighted her taut torso.

The ʙικιɴι’s high-rise bottoms hugged her shapely hips and accentuated her trim pins.

The fresh-faced mother of two kept her beach accessories minimal, opting for subtle gold jewellery around her neck.

However, it seems that the $905 frayed denim and calfskin ‘Fisherman’s Hat’ was not for her own sun protection but rather for one of her daughters, Sophia or Grace.

Her husband, Luke, looked casual and summery in a pair of plain green board shorts.

With his salt-and-pepper hair slicked back, the former NRL star completed his ‘dad bod’ look with a pair of black sunglᴀsses.

The couple appeared to be having a great time as they caught some Christmas rays, with Kate offering a contented smile as she strode along the sand after a cooling dip.

With her wet hair slicked back, Kate wrapped herself in a towel before sitting on the sand to take in the scene.

She was joined by Luke who stood over his wife as the pair engaged in conversation.

Earlier this year, Kate and Luke listed an elegant pad located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
