Brandi Glanville says doctors suspect her facial condition may be caused by a parasite that ‘jumps around’ her face.
On Sunday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 52 — who suffers from stress-induced angioedema — revealed she has been frequently hospitalized due to her ongoing health concerns and that she has incurred substantial expenses because of it.
After various medical appointments, multiple physicians told the reality star she could be suffering from a ‘parasite that jumps around [her] face.’
‘What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in &out of the hospital this pᴀssed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema,’ she said in an X post.
But Glanville had her own theory: ‘I personally say it’s Bravo,’ she alleged.
The blonde bombshell first sparked concern on Saturday when she shared an unrecognizable selfie displaying her facial skin disfigurement.

According to the Mayo Clinic, angioedema is a reaction similar to hives that causes swelling in the deeper layers of skin, often around the face and lips.
However, she did not mention the condition in her post and simply wrote alongside her pH๏τo: ‘Sick it!’
In her selfie, she was barefaced and had her blonde hair pushed back with a pair of glᴀsses atop her head.
Back in July, she also shared a pH๏τo of the severe facial swelling and said the skin condition is ‘why I’m miserable and depressed’ in a tweet.
‘I’m not even gonna share the picture of when it sinks in,’ she wrote on X, at the time.
‘Stress will kill you,’ she continued. ‘How is your wealth? Take care of yourself people, thank you Bravo. I couldn’t even work if I wanted to at this point.’
In January, she told Entertainment Tonight that the facial disfigurement started after the alleged incident with Caroline Manzo on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
‘I’ve had some health issues that have affected my ability to talk,’ she told the outlet earlier this year.
‘My ability to taste food, my face basically would swell up, like I would have anaphylactic shock, go into anaphylactic shock constantly and I saw seven doctors and their answer to it was it was stress-induced angioedema.’
After a tumultuous year, Glanville said her health deteriorated and her lips and face unexpectedly swelled up, accompanied by anaphylactic shock, in August for the first time.
Two months later, she said she was hospitalized as her condition worsened and her son had to call 911.
