Kylie Jenner showed up at the Oscars last night! ‘Kay, she actually showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party, which is an arguably even bigger event fashion-wise. The A-List who attended the actual Oscars ceremony all had an outfit change (or two) for the after parties, plus were joined by a whole of celebs who weren’t nominated. We’re talking Emily Ratajkowksi, Ashley Graham and Barry Keoghan all on the guest list.
But back to Kylie. It was a huge night for naked dresses and Kylie opted for a subtle take on the trend hitting the carpet wearing a red Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown. The chainlink design was sculpted to the makeup mogul’s body and was ever so slightly see-through. Featuring spaghetti straps and a plunging sweetheart neckline, the dress was decorated with a white tree and blossom motif that stretched across Kylie’s torso. A pair of custom made Sergio Rossi wine patent leather Godiva pumps completed the look.
Styling her high-shine dress with a pseudo wet ‘hydro hair’ look, Kylie repped the wet look from head-to-toe. And while the trend is divisive, we’re totally in love with her Oscars ‘fit.
The only thing missing was Timothée Chalamet who would have made a great accessory on the red carpet. The couple actually haven’t been seen since the Golden Globes in January, though Kylie was asked about Timothee during a recent interview with the New York Times – specifically, how she feels about claims that he inspired her “clean girl” era – to which she replied, “I don’t know how I feel about that. I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”
Maybe they’re taking a step back from the spotlight?
