Dua recently spoke to Teen Vogue about the misconceptions she’s gets from her number one record New Rules, with men believing that she ‘hates them’ because of her songwriting.
The talented artist, who talks female empowerment in her tunes, tells the magazine that ‘a lot of men come up to me and say, “You really hate men, don’t you?”‘
She explains: ‘That’s a total misconception. Some of the songs are unfiltered, and I don’t hold back.’
Dua also talked about her compeтιтive nature, but says she ‘feel like I’m more compeтιтive with myself.’
