Remembering the legendary model’s best moments with V

Gigi Hadid has ascended through her industry to attain well-deserved supermodel status, and V Magazine has been lucky to be a part of that journey. From her cover shoots for the magazine to the collaborative launch of the Gigi Journal in 2017, we’ve been avid fans of Gigi for many years now. Today is the model’s 26th birthday, and we’re celebrating by reminiscing on some of our cherished moments together and some of her most stunning looks in our pages.

In 2014, Gigi had her first feature in V Magazine, rocking chunky accessories and a gorgeous mane of hair. During this shoot for the V88 issue, her magnetism was already clear, and runway dominance was inevitable.

In V96, Gigi appeared alongside sister Bella Hadid for the models’ first shared cover. With complementary outfits and power stances, they demonstrated their unrivaled skill in their field.

Gigi got adventurous for the V114 issue, which had her swimming with the fishes and tearing through the pristine ocean atop a jet ski. How she managed to look so focused and composed while water droplets hung around her in midair is a mystery; moments like these are what make Gigi such a powerful force.

Finally, donning a gorgeous leather cap, Gigi was the face of our 2020 V Magazine calendar. We didn’t yet know what the year had in store, but at least we had Gigi’s beauty and poise to start it off.
