After seeing Claudia Schiffer glide down the runway during the Versace Spring 2024 runway show on Friday night, I didn’t think we would wait long to see this gown on the red carpet, and here we are.
Anne Hathaway has been in her element for some time now, but I feel that we particularly see her shine most in Versace.
Case-in-point, the actress stood out as she stepped onto the red carpet for the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s The Albies held at the New York Public Library on Thursday (September 28).
If I didn’t know better, I would ᴀssume this was a vintage gown.
Mostly because of the use of the iconic metal mesh which was spliced with lace detailing, but also because Donatella always references signature codes that evoke the “good old days” when minimalism wasn’t a buzzword.
I know a few of you aren’t fans of Anne’s favoured/signature beehive hairstyle, but I recall from her last red carpet outing that the fact that her hair wasn’t coiffed wasn’t viewed favourably either.
When Anne rocks the beehive, she means business, and in this case, it complements the vintage feeling I’m getting from the dress.
Silver Bulgari High Jewellery including the Serpenti bracelet and Versace bow front metallic pumps completed her look.
