Dua Lipa flaunted her edgy style as she arrived at Clive Davis’ iconic Pre-Grammy Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The singer, 28 — whose new movie is predicted to be a box office bomb – hit the event’s step-and-repeat pH๏τo op in an oversized red leather trench coat.
Belted at the waist, Dua’s eye-catching outerwear was adorned with metallic gold globes.
Her burgundy tresses were tucked into her coat collar and matched the color of her baggy trousers.
She kept her makeup natural by opting for a rosy blush, a ɴuᴅᴇ lipstick and a few coats of mascara.
Clive Davis’ Pre-GRAMMY Gala has taken place every year since 1976 on the night before the annual Grammy Awards.
It has become a cultural icon and a crown jewel of the music industry’s most important weekend, with a star-studded guest list and stellar performances remembered.
The invitation-only soiree also featured such A-listers as Paris Hilton, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Julia Garner and the members of Green Day.
Davis opened up about the legendary soiree during an interview with Variety on Thursday.
‘We don’t discuss performances because the whole thing is a surprise. But in the audience will be [Motown founder] Berry Gordy and Diana Ross and Jay-Z and Beyonce and Bon Jovi, and newer artists will be there, like SZA, Ice Spice, Noah Kahan and [basketball great] Scottie Pippen and [tennis superstars] Martina Navratilova and Serena Williams.
‘I think it will be Nancy Pelosi’s 24th or 25th consecutive year. It’s a unique audience.’
He added: ‘We’re here for the party, so obviously, there’s so much on my mind right now.
‘People are flying in from all over the world and we’re hoping to meet and perhaps exceed their expectations. That’s a big challenge. I take it seriously, and I’m excited.’
Sponsored by Hilton, IBM and Mastercard, the Pre-GRAMMY Gala will honor Sony Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Jon Platt as the 2024 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons honoree.
‘Jon Platt is one of the music industry’s most illustrious leaders and I am thrilled that he will be this year’s Salute to Industry Icons honoree,’ Davis said in a statement.
‘Jon’s longtime trailblazing commitment to supporting songwriters across the music spectrum as well as his staunch dedication to advocacy, diversity and equality in the music business are exemplary,’ he continued.
‘Artists and the industry at large are fortunate to have his insight and pᴀssion at the helm.’
