Dua Lipa may be one of music’s biggest stars but she certainly made a splash at a gallery honoring efforts on the cinema screen.

The 28-year-old British-Albanian singer – who recently split with boyfriend Romain Gavras, 42, – made sure all eyes were on her as she donned a see-through black ensemble at the 3rd Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Dua showcased her stunning figure at the star-studded event as she sported a lacy black dress which was sheer enough to show off her underwear.

The frock featured a backless designed as she also put on a cheeky display by showing off her thong underwear.

She accessorized with diamond-encrusted platinum jewelry including mᴀssive earrings and a necklace.

Her dark red locks were worn down into waves which rolled down her shoulder.

Dua showcased her natural looks with complementary make-up topped off with a swipe of rose-colored lip.

The Academy Museum Gala brings together the biggest and brightest stars as they honor four showbiz talents.

This year saw Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola among those recognized.

Streep, 74, received the Icon Award which celebrated her entire career which includes a whopping three Oscars.

Receiving The Pillar Award was Oprah, 69, who was recognized in her efforts for supporting the Academy Museum.

Coppola, 52, was honored for advancing the art of cinema as the daughter of Francis Ford Coppola was given the Visionary Award.

Lastly Jordan, 36, – who made his directorial debut with Creed III earlier this year – was presented with the Vanguard Award which is given to an emerging artist.

Leading up to the event director and president of the Academy Museum Jacqueline Stewart released a statement which read: ‘We are excited to gather again at our third annual Academy Museum Gala to celebrate the power, global impact, and indelible importance of cinema.

‘I am truly honored to recognize four artists, Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey and Sofia Coppola, whose creativity and pᴀssion have inspired and shaped our culture in such powerful ways.’

Meanwhile, the red carpet was star-studded as it featured the likes of Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Billie Eilish, Chrissy Teigen, and Demi Moore.

The gala was originally set to take place in October but was postponed following the Hamas attack on Israel.

Meanwhile Dua has reportedly split from her filmmaker boyfriend Romain Gavras after a whirlwind eight-month romance.

The hitmaker confirmed she was dating Romain, who is Rita Ora’s ex, back in March when the two were pictured heading home together from the Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show.

Yet the pair have now reportedly gone their separate ways, according to The Sun.

The singer has decided she wishes to concentrate solely on her music at the moment ahead of the release of her third album.

With her latest single Houdini released last month the star has called it quits with the Frenchman.

A source told the publication:  ‘Dua and Romain have gone their separate ways after a summer of love.

‘She has blinkers on when it comes to her career and the pair ended the relationship before things turned sour.

‘Romain considered Dua to be a workaholic but she doesn’t plan on slowing down for anything or anyone.’

The pair were last seen enjoying a night out together last month as they were joined by the star’s brother Gjin, 17.

The threesome were spotted leaving the Chiltern Firehouse, as Dua cut a stylish figure in bold red leather trousers, which she styled with a studded white top and a grey woollen coat.
