Dua Lipa’s latest red-carpet look just so happens to be the the perfect ensemble for your next holiday party.
Yesterday, the Grammy winner attended Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles, where she made a head-turning appearance in glossy bright red corseted gown from Vivienne Westwood. The festive piece, which matched her newly dyed crimson hair, featured a bow-tie bust, a small keyhole cutout on the bodice, and a long form-fitting skirt.
She accessorized the outfit with a black croc-embossed clutch bearing Vivienne Westwood’s logo, chunky rings, and silver chain lock earrings.
This isn’t the first time Lipa has a made a fashion statement by matching her attire to her hair.
During an outing in London earlier this month, she looked effortlessly cool in dark red croc-embossed heeled boots and a maroon clutch, which perfectly matched her locks’ new hue. She finished off the ensemble with a black T-shirt tucked into light-wash baggy jeans, a plain black belt, and a shaggy fur jacket in ivory white.
“I like having one piece that makes a whole outfit and then you can wear everything else that’s quite simple,” she told Bazaar in 2017. “I’ve always loved dressing up. I like it when things look like you’ve just thrown them on and sometimes the things you really do just throw on look the best. I’ve always been inspired by the ’90s, and I like wearing baggy trousers, and blazers with slipdresses and thigh-high boots or leather jackets, and just a mixture of all those together.”
